Students explore their passions and interests\, and gain skills and knowledge in industry areas such as automotive\, cosmetology\, business & management\, and health services.  \n \nParents and students who are interested in learning more about the career and technical education opportunities available at SSC are invited to attend one of our upcoming tours.  If you are interested in attending\, please select a tour time and date on this form.   \nOur next tour will be Wednesday\, January 21 at 5:30pm. Tours will begin on the South Campus at 14450 SE Johnson Road in Milwaukie.

DESCRIPTION:The 22nd Annual NW Youth Careers Expo \nAttend the Expo \n \nIndividual student registration open late February \nThe annual NW Youth Careers Expo is the Northwest’s premier career-exploration experience. Each year\, we welcome about 6\,000 students from 75+ high schools in Oregon and Southwest Washington\, as well as 200+ exhibitors representing the state’s leading employers and postsecondary partners. \nThe Careers Expo shows students the region’s amazing diversity of career opportunities\, along with the skills and education needed for those jobs. The event includes hands-on learning\, demonstrations\, mock interviews\, career workshops and the chance to talk directly with professionals about college-and-career options. \nOur goals are to connect employers to their future workforce and help students make informed\, inspired decisions about their education after high school\, whether they choose a four-year university\, community college or apprenticeship training center.
