This hands-on experience provides practical\, place-based strategies and opportunities to learn directly from small woodland owners and university experts. Participants will engage in interactive activities covering topics such as forest management\, tree measurement\, shiitake mushroom cultivation\, maple sugaring\, nature journaling and citizen science tools like iNaturalist\, as well as building partnerships with local forestry groups.
