Sat., Nov. 15: Team up with Rivers of Life Center to improve the back areas of the ELC that serve important wildlife edge effects (layered canopy, brushy conditions, transition areas between open grass and trails, etc.).
Gather at the ELC (21 Inskeep Dr.) at 10am and we will likely wrap up at 2:00 pm.
Learn methods of corrective pruning to create more wildlife habitat, low maintenance techniques of growing native plants in communals called “companion plantings” that help reduce stress from excess heating, mulching methods for particular effects such as weed control, water retention, and soil biological function. Let’s see what we can accomplish together for wildlife, people, water quality, and more!
