Regional Manufacturing Advisory Committee Meeting – Clackamas Community College – Rodger Rook Bldg, Rm 110
The meeting will be structured in two parts:
1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Teachers will meet together to discuss program needs, challenges, opportunities, and areas where regional collaboration could be helpful.
2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Teachers will meet with regional business and industry partners for the formal advisory portion of the meeting. This portion will be facilitated by WBTO, which conducted our regional manufacturing needs assessment a few years ago and has continued to lead the Advanced Manufacturing Regional Advisory Committee (AMRAC) meetings.

This regional meeting can take the place of one of your local advisory meetings. I also recognize that some of you have strong existing advisory committees and may choose to continue meeting with those groups separately.
I spoke with our superintendents last spring about moving toward this regional advisory model, and they were very supportive of the approach. Perkins funds will cover the cost of a half day substitute for each participating teacher, so there should not be a cost to your school for your participation.
