Area 1 Inside Electrical JATC is a four-year accredited apprenticeship program for General Journey-Level Electricians. We have been educating apprentices in Washington and Oregon since 1978. Our territory includes the following counties in Oregon and Washington: Clackamas, Multnomah, Hood River, Wasco, Washington, Yamhill, Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Pacific, and Skamania. Students attend classes at one of our campuses - in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR.
Electrical apprentices work 8,000 hours with one of our contractors (Training Agents) and attend class from 5pm-9pm one night/week. We have campuses in Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR. After four years, apprentices pass the Oregon General Journeyman exam and become a Journeyman (J) Electrician (and licenses are immediately eligible to reciprocate into Washington state as an "01" electrician.)
